Phil went on to tell the publication it was a difficult decision to make, but it was time for him, his wife and their two children to settle back Down Under.

The talented singer noted that he is open to opportunities to reunite with his pals on stage when they are back on home turf.

‘As far as Australia goes, when there are opportunities to play, they’ll fly here and I’ll jump back on board, and it will be the four of us as always,’ he said.

Elsewhere, the vocalist told the publication that the Covid pandemic put everything into perspective for him and his family in terms of safety.

Although Phil is not permanently quitting the group, he told the publication he has yet to figure out what his next move will be.

Toby Allen said they will have to rework their four person vocal arrangements for a trio as best they can.

Back for more: 'As far as Australia goes, when there are opportunities to play, they'll fly here and I'll jump back on board,' he told the publication
