Miranda Lambert exudes cowgirl charm in western hat and fringed jacket while sitting around campfire to perform Tequila Does at the CMT Music Awards

Miranda Lambert was seen performing Tequila Does alongside Jon Randall and Jack Ingram at the CMT Music Awards on Wednesday evening.

The three country artists appeared to be in their element as they sat around a picturesque campfire and belted out the collaborative track, which appeared on the Grammy-winning singer’s 2019 album, Wildcard.

The 37-year-old singer was nominated for several awards that were ultimately given out to other musicians during the annual awards show.

Laying it down: Miranda Lambert was seen performing Tequila Does with her collaborators Jack Ingram and Jon Randall at the CMT Music Awards on Wednesday

Lambert was dressed in an eye-catching beige jacket that prominently featured long fringes that ran down her sleeves and back during the taping.

The Kerosene singer offset her outerwear with a festive yellow patterned shirt and a pair of wide-legged blue jeans, as well as a set of high-top boots.

The former Nashville Star contestant’s beautiful blonde hair draped onto her chest and backside while she was performing the track.

Lambert tied off her outfit with a festive deep red cowboy hat while singing with her collaborators.

Ingram and Randall both kept it equally festive while playing the song, and they both wore wide-brimmed hats while belting the track’s chorus.

Tequila Does appeared on Lambert’s seventh studio album, entitled Wildcard, which was released in 2019.

The lead single from the record, It All Comes Out In The Wash, was well-received by the public and went on to reach the number 12 spot on the Billboard Hot Country Songs listing.

The album itself debuted at the fourth-highest position on the Billboard 200 listing and reached the top of the Top Country Albums chart as well.

Lambert was awarded the Grammy Award for Best Country Album at the 63rd iteration of the ceremony for her efforts.

The singer was nominated for several distinctions that were given out during the CMT Music Awards, including the Female Video of the Year award for her work on the visuals for her track Settling Down.

She was also put up for the Best Family Feature award for the same track, although the top prize ultimately went to Taylor Swift.

Lambert and Elle King were both nominated for the Collaborative Video of the Year award, which was given to Chris Young and Kane Brown for their track Famous Friends.

Last year’s ceremony had to be moved back from its scheduled June date to October of 2020 due to the ongoing coronavirus pandemic.

Wednesday night’s show will have more of a sense of normalcy, however, as COVID-19 cases continue to decrease and vaccination rates rise across the US.

Missed opportunity: Lambert was also nominated for the award for Best Family Feature, which was ultimately given to Taylor Swift

In addition to the standard array of country stars, the CMT Music Awards will be stocked with artists not usually associated with country music.

John Legend scored a Video of the Year nomination for his duet Hallelujah with Carrie Underwood, while pop rocker Pink earned a nomination for Collaborative Video of the Year for One Too Many, a duet with Keith Urban.

The ceremony will have plenty of star power on stage as the Avengers star Anthony Mackie drops by to present, while Freaks And Geeks actress Busy Philipps will also be on hand.
