The mental health campaigner lost her baby girl Consy from complications as a result of being born premature in January 2019, 14 months after her mother, Consy-Gloria, died of stomach cancer aged 65.

Brave Malin wrote alongside an image of two pregnancy tests: ‘Hi everyone, Obviously I have disappeared for a bit and I have had hundreds of messages from people asking if I am okay and sending me love.

‘I appreciate every single message and it means a lot that you all want to make sure I am okay.

‘Sometimes I need to take time to deal with my life privately, as my life is so public, I needed to take time out.’

The reality star detailed the importance of speaking out about her trauma in an effort to help others.

The media personality added: ‘The past few months haven’t been easy for me, but there is also something else I would like to address.

‘You all know that I am very transparent about taboo subjects, and I like to shed light on things that are often not spoken about and especially trauma I have experienced myself I found out I was pregnant – and I then soon after miscarried.

‘It pains me to talk about this in detail right now due to what happened to Consy.. but I want you all to know that miscarriage doesn’t discriminate and it can happen to anyone. Even when you think you have gone through enough.

‘I’ll be fine – my strength never ceases to amaze me sometimes but I felt that I needed to share this with you all as I’ve never been one to hold anything back – especially when I know it can help someone else.’

Her daughter Consy, named after Malin’s late mother, was born seven weeks early and cared for at Great Ormond Street Hospital since her premature birth.

Malin’s mum battled breast cancer twice since 2001, and the cancer spread for a third time before her death. Tragically, the TV star’s father died from skin cancer after battling the disease twice.

The Hertfordshire native ended her 18-month romance with Michael after his partner of seven-years Rebecca Barr, 38, contacted her to reveal he has four children and one that’s due in August.

Rebecca and Michael also share son Luciano, two, and he also has three other children from a previous relationship.

It is understood Michael did not tell Malin about any of his offspring during their time together.

It’s believed the pair first met when Michael reached out to Malin claiming to be a ‘security professional’ shortly after her ex Tom Kemp was sentenced to 10 months in prison.

Tom – the father of Consy – was jailed at Aylesbury Crown Court in September last year, after admitting to actual bodily harm, which left Malin ‘black and blue’.

Malin’s violent ex was freed from prison after just 12 weeks of his 10-month sentence, forcing her to up the security on her London home.
