‘They call me disgusting and say I’m going to hell’: Duncan James details the shocking homophobic abuse he’s received from FANS

Duncan James has revealed he’s subjected to shocking homophobic abuse from so-called fans who ‘find it hard to accept’ that he’s gay.

The Blue singer, 43, revealed he has been told he is ‘disgusting’ and that he will ‘go to hell’ because of his same-sex relationship with Rodrigo Reis, 27.

Speaking to OK! Magazine, he admitted that it ‘took him a while’ to come out but after 10 years he’s finally starting to feel ‘really comfortable’ in his skin.

Shocking: Duncan James has revealed he’s been called ‘disgusting’ due to his sexuality and admitted that some fans still find it hard to accept he’s gay

He said: ‘A lot of my fans in the UK have been really supportive, but I’ve got a lot of international fans who still find it hard to accept I’m gay.

‘Rodrigo and I posted a picture and there were a few bad comments, like, “It’s disgusting – look at you two. You’re going to go to hell.”‘

Duncan met Brazilian hunk Rodrigo in Belgium two years ago while he was there performing a gig with Blue.

Last month, the former Hollyoaks actor revealed he has had filler injected into his jaw to firm it up ahead of Blue’s 20th anniversary reunion.
