She is no stranger to reality TV.

And after abruptly quitting SAS Australia on Monday night, Brynne Edelsten has expressed her interest at being the next Bachelorette.

She made the admission on Tuesday during an interview with Nova’s Fitzy and Wippa, when the duo asked the 38-year-old about doing more reality TV shows in the future.

‘It’s top of my list’: Brynne Edelsten revealed she would ‘love’ to be the next Bachelorette following her short stint on SAS Australia

‘Yeah, I do enjoy doing that so much and I always like any opportunity that comes along. If I feel like it’s right and I’m happy to give it a try,’ Brynne said.

The breakfast hosts asked her specifically about dating shows, including Married At First Sight, to which she said: ‘You know I never say never to anything.’

‘Would you be the Bachelorette?’ co-host Sarah McGilvray asked.

‘I would love that one. Yeah, top of my list,’ the blonde bombshell said, revealing her desire to take over the coveted role after the current Bachelorette, Brooke Blurton.

Byrnne quit SAS Australia on Monday, handing in her number after six hours into the course, telling the Directing Staff her ‘body isn’t strong enough’ for the challenges.

The socialite, who was married to the late disgraced businessman Geoffrey Edelsten, told the Herald Sun that a knee injury was to blame.

‘I injured my knee and was struggling to put weight on it, so I wasn’t going to push myself to continue when I knew I couldn’t or that I could risk doing more damage,’ she said.

‘I don’t think most people are fit enough. No matter how much I wanted to do it mentally, my body just couldn’t keep up.’

‘I have no regrets about his, if anything it encourages me to try and work to see what I can do in the future,’ she added.

Geoffrey and Brynne’s relationship was captured in a short-loved reality TV show called Brynne: My Bedazzled Life from 2012 to 2014.

The couple called it quits, separating in 2014 and finalising their divorce in April 2015.

Edelsten, who died in Melbourne aged 78 on June 11, was a brilliant but disgraced medical entrepreneur and one of Australia’s great self-publicists.
