The chemistry was well in evidence on Tuesday as lovebirds Brooklyn Beckham and Nicola Peltz rounded off their glamorous night out with a passionate kiss. 

The couple – no strangers to public displays of affection – looked besotted with one another in a short Instagram video, posted after their appearance at the annual Met Gala

Wearing the elegant Valentino gloves and chandelier earrings she previously wore on the red carpet outside New York’s Metropolitan Museum of Modern Art, Nicola, 26, cupped her fiancé’s face in her hands before drawing him in.

Brooklyn, whose crisp white dress shirt is casually unbuttoned, accepts the lingering kiss before she sheepishly pulls away. 

Captioning the short clip, he wrote: ‘Most amazing night with my girl’ 

Having begun their night at the Met Gala, the couple headed uptown for an appearance at singer Rihanna’s star-studded afterparty, held at local nightspot DAVIDE.

However their latest social media update divided followers, with some branding the decision to post it ‘uncomfortable.’ 

Commenting on the post, one wrote: ‘Keep it behind closed doors will you.’ 

While a second dismayed follower added: ‘This is ehh.. i want to say cute, but have to say cringe.’ 

Evidently in agreement, a third commented: ‘This is uncomfortable.’ 

Others admitted they enjoyed seeing the young couple display affection to one another, with a fourth adding: ‘These two call me single in every single language that ever existed.’

Earlier that night he smitten couple put on a very cosy display at the at Metropolitan Museum of Art, with the son of David and Victoria Beckham cutting an incredibly debonair figure in a suave suit.

Meanwhile American actress Nicole  oozed elegance in a dazzling pink Valentino gown, giving her the distinct air of a princess.

Speaking to members of the press, Brooklyn revealed: ‘She tried [the dress] on and then I matched her!’

Nicola added: ‘I’m most looking forward to seeing old friends and people we haven’t seen in a minute.’

Brooklyn and Nicola are expected to marry in 2022 after delaying their wedding as a consequence of the COVID-19 pandemic
